Cutting-Edge Technology That Ensures Healthy Smiles
Technology continues to become a bigger part of our lives with each passing day, and when it comes to dentistry, the impact that certain instruments and techniques have cannot be understated. That’s why Dr. Ishaya has made sure that our office is equipped with all of the cutting edge technology needed to provide incredibly precise and comfortable dental care. To learn a little more about some of the gadgets we’ll use to care for your teeth and gums, just keep reading!
CT/Cone Beam Scanner

One of the most-used instruments in our office is our Ray America CBCT scanner, which provides detailed 3D images of the teeth, jaw, nerves, and surrounding structures. This means more precise diagnoses and treatment planning for procedures such as dental implants, among other more complex restorations. CBCT scans offer significantly more detail than traditional X-rays—and with clearer insight and improved accuracy, we’re able to deliver safer, more predictable, and more personalized care.
Digital Impressions

Our iTero digital impressions system replaces the need for traditional putty molds with a fast, comfortable digital scan of your teeth. This advanced technology captures highly accurate 3D images in mere moments, eliminating the mess and making things much easier on the patient. Digital impressions improve the precision of restorations like crowns, as well as Invisalign aligners. Plus, the images are available instantly, allowing for more efficient planning and clearer communication.
Soft Tissue Laser

Our soft tissue laser allows us to perform many dental procedures with exceptional precision and comfort. This unique instrument uses concentrated light energy to gently treat gum tissue, reducing bleeding, swelling, and even the need for sutures. Patients typically experience less discomfort and faster healing compared to traditional methods. The laser also helps disinfect the treatment area, in addition to streamlining the procedure and improving success rates.
Digital Cavity Detection

Cavities can sometimes be tricky to locate, but with the right tools, they can’t stay hidden forever. Our iTero digital cavity detection system uses advanced near-infrared imaging to help identify cavities that may not be visible during traditional visual exams. High-resolution images are shown so that both you and our team are easily able to spot problem areas. With iTero, we’re able to monitor changes in your mouth over time so that we can provide precise, proactive care.
Intraoral Camera

Our MouthWatch intraoral camera is one of the most useful instruments we have for helping patients truly understand their oral health. This small camera captures high-resolution images of your teeth, gums, and other oral structures in real time, allowing us to detect issues that might be missed with the naked eye. Images are displayed chairside, helping you to actually see what we see when we’re making diagnoses and explaining why a certain treatment might be needed. By improving visibility and communication, not only are you able to make well-informed decisions about your smile, but you’ll also enjoy a more engaging dental experience.
