Get to Know Broneil Ishaya, DDS
Dr. Ishaya has been practicing dentistry in Turlock since 2020. His favorite part of his career is being able to transform his patients’ lives in a comfortable and predictable manner, starting with improving their oral and overall health. He enjoys celebrating the small and large wins with his patients, from being cavity-free to looking at the final results after dental implant treatment. Why Did You Decide
to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Ishaya grew up in Turlock in his dad’s dental laboratory, which has been in the area for over 20 years. At around 12 years old, he began spending time with his father there, learning how to make false teeth so lifelike that you couldn’t tell the difference between natural and replacement teeth! He was fascinated with the artistry involved and quickly developed a passion for dentistry. Today, he’s happy to partner with his dad at Golden Valley Dental Lab to provide his patients with stunning prosthetics and oral appliances that fit perfectly.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
Dr. Ishaya completed his undergraduate studies at CSU – Stanislaus and went to dental school at UC San Francisco. Since graduating, he has completed countless hours of advanced training, including receiving his Fellowship from Misch Resnik Dental Implantology. He’s also certified with Invisalign and remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the:
- American Dental Association
- Stanislaus Dental Society
- California Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Ishaya is from Turlock, and he’s glad that he gets to provide his family, neighbors, loved ones, and other community members with outstanding care. He is married and has a young son who brings constant joy and meaning to him and his wife, Tamara. Dr. Ishaya met Tamara while attending CSU – Stanislaus, encouraging each other through the long years of studying and growth.
Whenever Dr. Ishaya isn’t at the office, he enjoys going to the gym, traveling to new places, going on snowy winter trips, or enjoying summer days at the lake or beach. Dr. Ishaya’s love for his community led him to start a local STEM summer camp program that now welcomes over 100 children every year! An interesting fact about Dr. Ishaya is that he attended first grade in Iran, second grade in Vienna, and third grade at Dennis Earl Elementary School in Turlock.
